One of my first tasks during my internship with The Tree Cafe sparked when

I noticed the menu visuals were outdated. I took the lead on directing a fresh

food shoot, playing with bold color contrasts to make each dish pop.

The end result brought a modern, cool vibe to the brand’s Instagram clean,

crave-worthy, and visually sharp.

Right Person, Right Time

Photobook, 2023

Right Person, Right Time is a photobook that captures a fleeting yet meaningful romantic connection with someone who made me feel truly loved for the first time in a long while.

Through photography, I documented the intimacy of those moments, hoping to preserve them forever. Though it didn’t last, the experience became a chapter of growth and self-reflection.

Character development, indeed ;_;

Documenting Tanglin Halt also known as Chap Lau, the place I grew up in. Known for its iconic 10-storey flats, old shophouses, and train tracks tucked behind HDB blocks, it holds a quiet charm that’s slowly fading.

With redevelopment on the horizon, I wanted to capture its soul before it’s gone.

This project became my way of holding onto a place that shaped me.
