UNCHAOS is a final-year project that explores mental health through the immersive sounds of Shoegaze music inviting emotional release, mindfulness, and self-reflection.

 

Set within a dreamlike sonic world, it offers a quiet refuge for anyone needing to pause, process, and find peace. This pop-up exhibition is designed as a solitary experience, placed intentionally in overlooked public spaces like bus stops, parks, and void decks.

Each booth allows just one person at a time to step in, put on headphones, and drift into

a visualised soundscape.

 

Even if only for a moment, UNCHAOS serves as a gentle breather from the noise of everyday life.

DETRUCK was a group school project created by five creatives, each with different strengths. I’m someone who often thinks out loud and shares ideas freely, and for this project, I contributed mainly to brainstorming, developing DeZine, and finalising our concept.

 

The campaign blends fashion and music to celebrate self-expression through truck festivals, DJ sets, and swap stations. With both digital and real-world activations, it positions Depop as a go-to platform for bold, secondhand style.

The Tree Cafe

Instagram Post

The Tree Cafe is a halal cafe brand with a self-service concept, aiming to create affordable cafe experiences for all serving up a wide range of Western and Asian-fusion inspired food, drinks and desserts.

 

As The Tree Cafe’s creative intern, I took the lead in proposing and directing a refreshed burger photoshoot to give the brand a more updated and appealing look. Beyond the shoot, I designed the Instagram post to better connect with a younger audience and enhance their overall online presence. It was a small but solid step toward rebranding the cafe into something more current and visually engaging!

SUPER HUNGRY CLUB

To celebrate The Tree Cafe’s 8th anniversary, we launched a sub-brand SUPER HUNGRY CLUB featuring limited edition t-shirts designed by our full-time creative lead. I was in charge of designing the Instagram post to promote the drop and help drive sales. The goal was to create something eye-catching and aligned with the sub-brand’s identity, while building hype around the anniversary release.

When The Tree Cafe opened its 5th outlet at Eastpoint Mall, I was tasked with designing the Opening Promo standee placed right at the entrance

as well as boosting the promo on Instagram. The goal was to create a visual that would instantly capture attention, highlight the launch offers, and draw foot traffic into the new space. It was a key piece in setting the tone for the outlet’s debut.

nails4daze is my own line of press-on nails fully designed by me and a home-based nail service. I’ve always loved doing my own nails, and once I discovered press-ons, I was hooked! That curiosity led me down a YouTube rabbit hole, and before I knew it, I was creating my own sets. It’s still a small, growing venture, but I’m excited to launch online and start taking bookings soon!

EID SAMPUL PROJEK is a Hari Raya 2024 project my sister and I teamed up to sell floral-themed money packets during Ramadan.

 

I designed the packets and created visuals for Instagram posts and stories.

It was my first time putting something out there to sell, and a small but meaningful step toward sharing my own designs.

DICKSON NASI LEMAK X 35A

Wall Poster

The Platform Collective is a multi-concept F&B business that houses Dickson Nasi Lemak, Champion Bolo Bun, and Magic Bolo.

 

 One of my first few tasks with the team was to design a simple yet effective mural poster for Dickson Nasi Lemak’s collaboration with 35A, a mid-century-inspired shophouse salon.

 

As the featured food vendor at 35A’s art market, Dickson Nasi Lemak needed visibility within the space, and we created a directional mural

to guide visitors to our booth.

Champion Bolo Bun

Champion Bolo Bun is the world’s first Bolo Bun concept store, offering a modern and elevated twist on the beloved classic bolo bun.

 

Every festive season, the brand includes a specially designed greeting card with each purchase as a way to spread cheer and warmth. I was given the opportunity to design that year’s Christmas card, where I took on a casual, loose, and quirky illustrative style to reflect the brand’s lighthearted spirit and bring a playful touch to the holiday experience.

Magic Bolo is a playful sub-brand of Champion Bolo Bun, designed to create a fun, family-friendly space where kids can be themselves. I was in charge of the first few Instagram posts, using secondary graphics and grain textures to give the visuals a soft, dreamy feel.

Case Video

Punk It, Louder! is a self-directed school project that takes the form of an urban arts event dedicated to uplifting the female punk community. Blending punk music, graffiti art, and street culture, the event creates a raw and inclusive space for self-expression.

 

It challenges the long-standing notion that punk is a male-dominated scene, aiming instead to break gender barriers. At its core, Punk It, Louder! empowers women to take up space, embrace their individuality, and unapologetically express themselves through art, music, and attitude.
